Bike wasn't serviced for 2 months, each time I called to ask what was happening with the bike (as they had promised 2 weeks) they said they were just "waiting on the mudguards," when in fact, they hadn't even begun to order them! While the wait was frustrating, the quality of the service was even worse. They didn't replace the brake cables, which definitely needed doing as they were fraying and loose. Also the cassette was replaced, which would have been a good thing, had they not replaced it with a different size cassette, meaning I can no longer reach a high enough gear to challenge myself. When collecting the bike, the person in the shop didn't explain what parts they had serviced, instead he just told another person to fetch the bike and didn't say another word about the bike or the service. Now I'm not usually one to complain, but the quality of service was appalling and terribly disappointing considering how many 5 star reviews this place has.

I MUST SAY, I'M REALLY HAPPY WITH MY NEW MOUNTAIN BIKE, IT WAS DELIVERED THIS MORNING, IT WAS A PLEASURE DEALING WITH THE STAFF AT SOUTHFORK, THEY WERE REALLY HELPFUL WITH ADVICE, AS IM A MAN OF 6 FEET 6", I NORMALLY STRUGGLE WITH BIKE FRAME SIZES, BUT THEY FOUND ME THE IDEAL BIKE, AND THE GREAT THING IS THEY DELIVERED IT FOR NOTHING,AND AT THE RIGHT TIME, AS I WAS ON HOLIDAY AT THE TIME, AND MY HOME WAS 190 MILES AWAY FROM BRAUNTON, I WILL CERTAINLY KEEP THEM IN MIND FOR THE FUTURE, ONCE AGAIN THANKYOU, FROM A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER.
