Called Surfari first thing on Tuesday after the bank holiday whilst camping at Woolacombe they were extremely helpful and were able to repair my very poorly Mondeo the same day to enable us to head home that same evening. While on holiday my car developed a fault and the guys here bent over backwards to fit the car in and repair it, shame I can only give 5 stars
Fantastic engineers, very professional and helpful.My 2005 Audi A4 developed auto gearbox problems when visiting Croyde. The garage ran a diagnostic on my ECU and topped up the transmission fluid. They charged a very reasonable half hour rate.This garage will collect and return your car from the nearby resort so Im hoping to get my next service done whilst floating around in the sea!
Having car trouble on holiday is never ideal, but that is what happened to me. After experiencing a seized brake calliper while in Croyde I asked around and tried ringing around Barnstaple garages - none too helpful with a lot of 'bring it in and it might cost this or potentially a lot more'. I usually work on my car myself, after previous experiences of paying through the nose at similar garages in the north so I was dreading this.But then Surfari in Georgeham was recommended to me. Worth a try, and much closer. A quick phone call to Jack and I had an accurate detailed 'worst case scenario quote' (which was still cheaper than quotes from bigger garages in barnstaple) and a great customer experience with someone who knew what they were talking about. The next morning I dropped the car off - they drove me back to Croyde, and then drove the car back to me a couple of hours later as good as new.I couldnt be more impressed and I wish these guys were my local garage back up north. I would recommend anyone like me, or local, to give them a try - highly recommended and very nice people. Thanks again
